For years I have been proposing that the MFE program be reoriented around fusion breeding, and that the next step in the American MFE program should be what I have called the Scientific Prototype. I have published various articles of such in the fusion literature. More recently I have published and article in IEEE Access, an open access high impact journal dedicated to important interdisciplinary projects:

I sent this article to many people, including Bernard Bigot, the director of ITER. He wrote me back, agreeing with some points, disagreeing with others. Needless, to say, it is enormously flattering to get such an answer from the director of ITER and I appreciate it tremendously. I would like to give a poster at Sherwood, and there I will discuss and distribute my work, as well as my correspondence with Dr. Bigot.
